The White Dress Shirt Exhibition
To celebrate the launch of their new technical dress shirt, the Something Borrowed Shirt, ADAY created an exhibition that examined the iconic white dress shirt and what it means to women today, from the historical evolution of the garment, the people and brands who have put their own stamp on it through to the future of clothing.
Along with the co-founders and the brand director of ADAY I created a poster series to highlight key moments and fun facts in the history of the white dress shirt as well as little icons explaining different types of shirt collars and cuffs. I also designed the email invite to ADAY's customers along with the invites for the events we hosted each night of the exhibition. Since ADAY is a technical apparel brand who's specialty is their reinvention of classic fabrics, the movement and the fold that appeared in the shirt fabric was the inspiration for the graphic elements.
